Testimonials
This was one of the best PCI London events I've been to. Many of the presentations were absolutely top class and lots of the speakers were animated, informed and provided valuable insight to all. It was great to be back in person too!
Great to be back in person at another well organised event providing short, punchy and educational presentations from some quality speakers
I really did enjoy PCI London yesterday. Yet again AKJ Associates produced an outstanding virtual conference. The speakers were first rate and the range of topics they covered were so varied that there was something for everyone. I was particularly glad to hear Jeremy King give his thoughts on PCI-DSS 4.0 and how it’s progressing. As for the platform on which the virtual conference was held, how easy can it be for us? It’s so clear and intuitive to use. Whoever it was at AKJ Associates that selected the platform, well done them!
As PCI London’s first virtual event it was certainly a great success for Eckoh. We were thrilled to welcome so many attendees to our speaker session as well as to our virtual booth. The agenda was well put together offering insightful and relevant topics. The event and build up was well organised and the actual event site was easy to navigate - from the lobby to networking and joining the conference sessions - making it a great experience for participants as well as delegates.
I was pleased to be able to join the online version of PCI London. The user interface was excellent, I had no problems logging in and had immediate access to all of the content, such as the agenda and vendors. The sessions were easy to find and hit the usual high standard in terms of useful information, perspectives and presentations. With all organisations struggling, adapting or overcoming the challenges of the pandemic, (and in many cases all three), presenters engaged in ever-relevant information in terms of realising business, IT, PCI-DSS and GDPR standards at this time, which in itself added increased value and benefit to having this event. With the core benefits of the conference delivered in safety and removing a lengthy journey, I found that overall I was happy to have traded the usual facilities and atmosphere for it to have taken place.
I found this edition of the PCI London extremely interesting. The presentations were terrific and the level of the speakers awesome. The event was perfectly organized and I hope I will be able to attend the next PCI event.
We have sponsored PCI London for several years at the in-person events. I was slightly apprehensive of the switch to digital; however, the team was extremely organised and effective with communication. The event platform was clean and easy to use, and deliverables were met compared to other virtual events we’ve done. Thank you to the PCI London team for bringing the community together effectively and congratulations on another successful event.
I was impressed by the virtual format of PCI London. I’ve attended a number of virtual conferences over the last year, however, this worked very well having all the content pre-recorded with the speakers available for live text-chat.
The PCI event was excellent as ever. The presentation from Jeremy King, was very reassuring about the forthcoming v4 of the standard. The opportunity to discuss problems and share approaches with fellow practitioners is both refreshing and has provided Eureka moments!
PCI London being online during a lockdown seems a more valuable experience than ever! The speakers, targeting lockdown or pandemic restrictions with regards to homeworking, PCI-DSS and GDPR brought not only a new focus to the sessions, but a valuable interaction with the industry in restricted times and in safety!
I thought the event had good attendance from a networking perspective and had an array of good speakers helping attendees tread a careful path between regulation, standards and best practice. The education seminars were a good complement and an opportunity for deep dives in specific areas too.
The day was packed full of interesting and useful topics providing excellent insights into PCI, its relevance alongside other compliance and regulatory frameworks, how it security enhanced and optimised to seamlessly imbed into BAU, and how PCI will potentially be re-shaped in the future. There was also a wonderful set of educational topics showing some exciting technology solutions to support all entities in the eco-system. An excellent, insightful, useful, interesting and inspiring day.
PCI London was yet another highly enjoyable and informative day. There were some lively discussions around the challenges of PCI compliance, and useful education sessions covering encryption, tokenisation etc which gave some great insight into controls not only for card data, but for wider data security as well. Great chance to catch up with peers in the industry and share thoughts and ideas.
I want to say thank you for a very professional, informative and enjoyable conference!
Live discussions, great contacts, knowledge sharing between peers is priceless for me. All around it was very rewarding — thank you for including me.
Congratulations to @PCI_London for the superb virtual conference we sponsored last week! It was refreshing to see the continued ambition to devalue cardholder data and reduce PCI scope. Great feedback from merchants looking to keep all their Omni channels PCI DSS compliant.
I found the PCI London event a great stage for learning more about the impact that the changes in regulations and legislation will be having, not only on the payment card industry but in general for all businesses. The presentations were good and represented a good mix of organisations. The ability to talk with vendors in a non-pressured environment and network with other likeminded individuals from different companies was an opportunity that doesn’t happen on a day to day basis. For this alone it is very valuable.
Great event with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lots of professionals attending who seem passionate about what they do – a great networking opportunity.
Informative day, easy access to third party experts and end users in the fields, found the conference really beneficial.
PCI London brings together a wealth of of knowledge from PCI Professionals from various different industries. It holds a great opportunity to further your knowledge and network.
It was a brilliant hosted event, with a diverse range of speakers, topics and formats. All this provided a wide range of insight for me into PCI, and really helped with my knowledge of the Regulation.
I have been presenting at PCI and eCrime events for more than a year now and every time the day has turned out to be great. The AKJ team has always been helpful and very professional before, during and after the event. The main point for us is the interesting discussions we have with all the delegates who attend these events. They often come back to us afterwards and request a demo of our solution that often leads to a sale. If you are serious about PCI DSS this is the place to be. See you at the next event!
I found the event extremely useful in getting an industry perspective on what is going on in the world of PCI and GDPR. Speakers were knowledgeable on their respective areas and the 20 minute sessions were just enough to get the information required but not so much that attention spans were stretched!! Many thanks again for a great event.
PCI London was perfect for me this year - the right level of presentations and hosted by very relevant and good selection of relevant vendors - many thanks.
This was my first time at a PCI London event. I have to say I was somewhat sceptical about a free event, expecting little more than a disguised sales rally. However, I was extremely impressed with the whole day. The presentations were well prepared, informative, and topical. The break-out sessions were professional, interesting and insightful. I would have no hesitation recommending this event which was of genuine value to me and has raised issues which I now realise I must follow up on.
PCI London was an excellent learning and networking experience. At least one supplier presentation has led me to revisit PCI options. Meeting peers in other companies has already provided a means to share experience on areas that will positively impact pending PCI work. It was great value for a day of my time.
It was truly a very inspiring and educational experience. The knowledge of the speakers is exceptional and network opportunities aplenty.
PCI London is not only the perfect event for catching up on the new developments around the PCI standards, threats and countermeasures, but embraces the wider picture to cover GDPR, data security, cyber security threats and risk management also.
The whole day was informative from start to end. Some of the speakers were able to introduce real passion and fun into what could be seen as a dry topic to the outsider. The breakout sessions I went to were packed out and were delivered by knowledgeable speakers, authorities in their own area who engaged their audiences well. Expect to be challenged in your thinking, meet some new people facing similar issues to you, and enjoy being looked after by the catering team.
PCI London is the best forum available both for merchants to keep abreast of the standards and issues; and also for sponsors to network with customers and partners.
Thank you for another very good event. It was well-organised, had great timing and duration of the presentations, and plenty of opportunity to network. Great speakers and content so definitely informative and interesting one to security and PCI experts. Good work for the AKJ Associates team in building the program. You’ve created a great opportunity and atmosphere to perfectly balance the presentation and less formal discussions.
I thought this was the best of the PCI events that I have attended to date. I particularly enjoyed the Chairman’s assessment of the current state of security and security vendors.
As usual PCI London provided insightful sessions, excellent networking opportunities, and a focused selection of exhibitors offering PCI related products and services. With industry attention now on GDPR, the content allowed attendees to position PCI compliance as a building block to meeting the latest regulations. Unmissable!
This event was yet another triumph. I know the format is tried and tested, but it works really well. From a personal perspective I bumped into a couple of old colleagues, and was able to meet up with 2 vendors – one old, one new – in the breaks. Your speakers were outstanding, some of them inspirational, and as ever the topics were spot on for their relevance. The seminars I attended were excellent and gave me a number of ideas which I now need to follow up. For me it was a thoroughly worthwhile day. Congratulations and thank you. See you all next time!
This was the first PCI event that I have been able to attend and I didn’t know what to expect, my only real aims were to take away a few points from the presentations and speak to likeminded people about the current challenges facing the PCI community. When Jon Hawes kick-started the day in tremendous fashion with his rollercoaster paced delivery, I could see looking around the room that there was a real buzz amongst the audience. Of the main stage speakers, particular credit goes to Gary Hibberd as I now have ‘don’t try and boil the ocean’ stuck in my head and to Steve Wright for his Data Strategy with the five W’s. I had not expected so much crossover with GDPR during the agenda; however, it was all relevant and if anything reinforced the need to collaborate or closely align with more internal departments owning those responsibilities.
Once again I thoroughly enjoyed the event and thought the organisation was absolutely first class. The opportunity to speak directly to vendors who understand the issues and complexity around PCI was extremely beneficial. I also thought the openness and honesty of the presenters, to share their experiences and guidance was extremely insightful. The education sessions were very relevant and informative with an openness that made the event extremely worthwhile to attend.
Yet again I found PCI London really interesting and useful to me in my role. I will definitely be at the 20th edition next year.
I thought yesterday’s event was excellent … There was obviously a fair amount of angst surrounding GDPR and how businesses should approach this legislation. However, the speakers who covered this subject (plus how their respective service/product propositions could smooth the way) did a great job, presenting creative, well-balanced and informative guidance which I found particularly helpful. See you next year!
The event was of great benefit as I had the opportunity to speak to different vendors about their solutions and have discussions with a number of QSAs.
PCI London provided an excellent opportunity to network with peers, to hear from speakers as to the initiatives they are under taking and gain assurance that as an information security professional that we all struggle with the same business issues.
Very well organised and a great balance between presentations and networking. The format and layout was very conducive to having great conversations with the attendees, much more so than a traditional ‘tradeshow’ and there was a great community feel that all the participants, solution vendors, merchants and consultants had a part to play in achieving compliance together. The principal benefit for us is that it is a very focussed and targeted group of attendees that are taking PCI seriously and are committed to address their requirements in this area.
The presentations and educational seminars at PCI London not only provide valuable technical information but also the non technical “gotchas” that other organisations have experienced at first hand. I was able to take away nine key themes from the conference that will influence our PCI programme for the better.
I found the conference extremely informative and professionally put together, and it has increased my knowledge around both PCI DSS and GDPR. I thought the length of the individual segments was just right, and I felt informed without the dreaded information overload. I also liked the way the day was split into break out sessions and group talks - giving us the opportunity to listen to industry speakers talking about what was most relevant to our individual jobs. Again, thank you for all the hard work your team put in to make it such a success. I look forward to hopefully attending another conference at a later date.
I found this event extremely well organised and all speakers and presentations were smooth and seamless. It was a pleasure to be there!
I thoroughly enjoyed the PCI London event with some excellent presentations from a number of speakers. This gave a good opportunity to interact with a number of product companies who are providing state of the art PCI solutions for large contact centre operations. Gave good insight of Tokenisation and GDPR. All in all, a very productive day. I also wanted to appreciate AKJ Associates for planning the event very well (time management, logistics and the food).
Informative, interesting, intriguing, inspirational. The speakers and break-out sessions were excellent, as was the overall theme of the conference. A well organised event and one to which I will definitely plan to return.
Thanks again for a great PCI London event. It was great to participate in such an interesting event with many interesting people and good facilities & logistics.
PCI London was, as ever, a great event featuring some very informative and entertaining presentations. I found it particularly useful to see some integration of PCI and GDPR topics.
Very useful is an understatement! Great presentations, superb event organisation and many opportunities to network. Will definitely attend the next event.
Well done! I enjoyed the whole event. It was informative, thought-provoking and well managed throughout the day. I’m definitely going to visit next year's event.
The PCI London Conference was and excellent and very well organised event providing a great mix of seminars and networking opportunities. The networking with both the exhibitors and other attendees at the conference was really valuable and I have picked up several really useful contacts.
My first attendance at PCI London – a really informative conference with a great range of speakers. I found the information insightful and provided a good context around the PCI and the potential challenges for its new big brother GDPR. Presentations from Neira Jones with Simon Brady, Steve Wright and Nealle Page were outstanding.
The conference was an excellent event, very well organised and incredibly informative – the speakers all delivered energising, engaging and thought-provoking presentations, which will ably equip us to help influence corporate strategy on embedding PCI DSS moving forward. I would highly recommend the conference to anyone involved in this arena and look forward to the next event.
Networking with colleagues, peers and vendors was excellent and compliments on as usual the high standard venue and facilities selected for the event.
The event was really useful. The quality of the presentations, both in terms of speakers and content, was high. The vendor led sessions were informative without being too 'salesy'. The sheer number of contacts from around the industry was fantastic and, overall, I'd say the event was equally good for learning and networking.
Just wanted to say thank you for the event yesterday - not only was the whole day informative and engaging, but the service and atmosphere was second to none.
The event yesterday was great in all aspects. The presentations were very interesting and the organization in general was perfect. Congratulations!
