Testimonials
I always make an effort to attend the yearly e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress events, which are an excellent opportunity to hear from industry experts about some of the most pressing challenges in cybersecurity today.
This year in particular, the sessions on AI, Zero Trust, and the evolving cyber threat landscape were particularly insightful, offering valuable perspectives on how these developments are shaping the future of cybersecurity. The discussions were not only informative but also highly relevant to the challenges faced in both public and private sector security operations.
One of the standout aspects of the Congress was the quality of the discussions and the expertise of the speakers. The range of topics covered ensured that there was something relevant for all attendees,
As someone working in Law Enforcement, I found the insights shared during the Congress to be especially useful in understanding the latest cyber threats and defense strategies. The speakers provided real-world examples and practical applications that can enhance cybersecurity policies and response measures. The focus on Zero Trust and AI-driven security solutions highlighted the importance of adapting to emerging risks with proactive strategies.
The only drawback was not being able to attend all the seminar sessions due to time constraints. With so many valuable discussions happening simultaneously, it was difficult to choose which ones to prioritize. However, this also speaks to the strength of the Congress—every session offered meaningful takeaways, making it a highly worthwhile event.
Overall, the e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress was a fantastic opportunity to gain fresh insights into the ever-changing cyber landscape. The event provided a platform for learning, networking, and staying ahead of emerging threats, making it an essential learning experience which I look forward to attending again in the future.
It was very useful to gain perspectives on cybersecurity challenges and how to manage them from a broad spectrum of practitioners in the public and private sectors, and at all levels from individual contributors all the way up to organisational strategic thinkers. The logistical elements of the congress itself were well executed, allowing us as delegates to focus on learning and connecting. I’m happy I attended and would welcome an opportunity to attend again.
This conference continues to the best, and only one, I choose to attend; the presentations enable diverse thinking and opportunity spotting which is both stimulating and useful to imagining simple solutions to complex problems.
This was my first eCrime & Cybersecurity Congress and I was not entirely sure what to expect. The event was very informative with the “fireside chats” and the “open forums” of most value to me. Looking forward to the next event!!
I found the two day event was very useful for the sharing of good practice in the ever evolving world of e-crime and cybersecurity.
The conference was well run and there were a number of presentations from the military, academia, industry and product suppliers.
This enabled attendees to hear about current developments including the latest cyber threats, along with being able to discuss current techniques and view specialist products which can be used to improve business resiliency for my own global organisation and customers.
Attending the eCrime Cyber Security event was an incredibly insightful experience. The sessions were highly informative, speakers were top-notch experts. I gained a deeper understanding of current cyber threats and practical strategies to combat them. Highly recommend !
It is my second year at the e-crime and cybersecurity congress. The sessions are very informative and provide plenty of food for thoughts! Having many important stakeholder and vendor at the event help in understanding where the market is going and have a grasp of the future.
The e-Crime Congress & Cybersecurity Congress is the one conference I endeavour to attend every year. The agenda is packed yet the sessions are always incredibly well structured - just the right length and the subject matter is always very topical. There's a healthy mix of humour + seriousness when discussing Cybersecurity and the inherent risks we're all facing - the speakers know they stuff! One other aspect I really enjoy - there's no hard sell (not like other conferences I've been to).
My feedback on the event is that, in general, it was extremely useful and worthwhile, with a good mix of speakers from different organisations providing their own perspective.
The break-out sessions with choice of subjects / speakers is a good idea and avoids sitting in the main hall for too long!
The length of each presentation was about right.
It was also good to have the opportunity to meet the different sponsors during the various breaks.
I thought the e-crime and cybersecurity congress was absolutely fascinating! I'm new to the industry, so there was a lot for me to learn in a short time. Many of the topics discussed were advanced, but the speakers were excellent at explaining things and I was able to understand every point. The whole thing was so incredibly well organised and well run and I'm really looking forward to going back next year!
An excellent congress as always, unfortunately couldn't attend both days, but the first day was awesome. From strategy and policy to deep cryptography and quantum computing and much in between, there was plenty to inspire, provoke and use to strengthen our security postures.
The conference covered the areas that are most likely to cause the cyber industry to leap. It was great to have so many views from different industries and how all of us are doing our part to protect our societies and organisations.
Although I was only able to attend the conference on Wednesday it still proved to be a very productive and collaborative event. I found the presentations to be thought provoking and encouraged discussion especially the HSBC Quantum Computing presentation. The venue itself lends itself well to collaborating and networking.
The e-Crime & Cybersecurity event was a highly valuable insight into prevailing Cybersecurity threats and counter measures landscape. Organisation of the event was brilliant with presentations and insights from some excellent people. I gained a significant amount of knowledge and found the event very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the presentations from Culture AI, Veronis, Beyond Trust and Illumio.
I really enjoyed the sessions, and the topics discussed. I have connected with a couple of vendors for product demo's.
The event was a valuable use of my time and provided an extensive variety of speakers sharing their insights.
I would like to thank you sincerely for the Congress and the excellent organisation and hosting. The scientific quality of the conference was excellent too.
Thank you for an informative and educational week.
Happy 21st! - great to be back in person at another well organised event providing short, punchy and educational presentations from some quality speakers
Just wanted to let you know I thought it was a really good event!
What a fantastic week we had because of your conference!
It was fantastic and all the information and presentations were very informative and educational. Thank you for organising this, it is just mind opening.
Once again the eCrime & Cybersecurity Congress was both insightful and educational, providing great networking opportunities, allowing sharing from across verticals.
Good to be back to an in-person meeting, great presentations and shared insights between fellow attendees.
While this eCrime was different, it was more valuable than ever, bringing my home-desk straight to the key topics, issues, speakers and solutions, to consider eCrime risks and controls in the New Normal!
As a first time attendee at the e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress, I was very impressed with the range of speakers, the topics covered and the material they used. This year being a virtual Congress I was able to commit to attending with the knowledge that I could dip in and out during the 2 days should anything come up at work. As it happens I was able to attend almost all of it. The virtual platform utilised was very intuitive and ideal for this size of event. The presentations, live Q&A, downloadable resources, Vendor Stands etc were all very good and I had no technology connection issues. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable event, professionally organised and facilitated and I will certainly recommend it to other Security Professionals. Thank you
I found the event highly relevant for the issues faced across the industry. The ranges of topics and multiple viewpoints being discussed helped to confirm existing strategies, inform others underway and prompt further discussion. Overall a good two days investment, congratulations to the AKJ team.
E-crime and Cyber congress 2021 is one of the best Cyber conferences on the UK circuit. This year was a first being carried out remotely and very different to the normal 2 day event in person in London due to Covid 19. I found this remote approach worked very well and there was a great selection of speakers available and some excellent educational seminars. I also found the panel discussions very informative with a great selection of representative experts from their respective fields to provide a good and balanced view. I also found the resources very useful and thought it was a great touch that you could pause a session if required and that it was also available for 20 mins or so after it started in case you needed to attend to another matter prior to attending. Very good overall as ever, fingers crossed the mid-year review will be back in person again covid depending!!
Great job done by all involved. The virtual conference operated flawlessly given the variables of presentations given. I also enjoyed still having the ability to join with likeminded people, learn the challenges people are facing, or what is going right as well as of course the nod to the products out there.
The e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress is a must for people within many areas of industry, as the speakers excellent, the content very relevant, the presentations fantastic, and the event excellent. I left feeling more informed and ready for new challenges.
It was a well organised event and I very much enjoyed the presentations and educative sessions. Well done. I’d like to highlight the well balanced schedule with a good mix of themes and topics presented by a well selected group of specialists in their respective field. I am looking forward to attend future events.
In spite of the media coverage on the Covid-19 outbreak both globally and locally the e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress was very well-attended. This is a testament of AKJ organising a high quality event which is both topical and relevant to risk and cyber security professionals. The event provides ample opportunity to network with peers and vendors and the educational sessions provides more detailed information to the attendees on the specific topic of interest. As always this is one event which I make every effort to attend.
This was my third Congress. I enjoyed this well organised event, which always gives me fresh insights and ideas. I will definitely be back next year.
The e-Crime Congress enables us to evaluate where we are as an organisation in relation to unfolding events. We are very conscious that our exposure is limited and that we can easily get out of step with the trends taking place in cybersecurity. We have gained great value from real life experiences, learning from others and the issues they faced. In the past event, with representatives from law enforcement and legal professionals were extremely useful. The event is also invaluable in providing a platform to meet other practitioners to share experiences and ideas that you simply cannot get elsewhere. I have managed to get several of my colleagues coming to these events and they all have quickly realised that the e-Crime Congress delivers so much more than other similar events. The breadth of topics covered and the technical level of detail provided is invaluable.
Excellent speakers and presentations with a very wide supplier participation, and opportunity to make and develop cross sector contacts.
For me the event was extremely useful in understanding where the vendor industry is going and to get insights into fellow professionals’ thinking on areas close to the Information Security Professional’s heart. Some really innovative approaches and the case studies really worthy of a seat!
A world class event, unrivalled networking opportunities within the global law enforcement and national security community. I have been coming for 10 years and look forward to the next 10 years.
The e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress events always stand out from other security events, providing a somewhat unique combination of pertinent and relevant main-hall seminar sessions, coupled with a choice of educational seminars throughout the day. In addition, the venue is ideally placed to provide a good cross section of vendors and provide all the facilities needed at an event such as this, where like-minded professionals can network. Often at e-crime & Cybersecurity congress events I can make those important contacts with industry peers as well as speak to more vendors in one place than I could otherwise, making these events well worth the time out of the office. Thought-provoking, up-to-date and valuable.
The event was great. The speakers and presentations were of a very high standard compared to other events I have attended. The networking was above and beyond with so many companies and positions. The venue was in a great location and provided excellent catering for everyone to enjoy. I will recommend other security colleagues to attend in the future.
This was my first attendance at the event and as a non-technical IT person with my expertise in risk I found that there was great content, networking opportunities and thought provoking topics to make my attendance a very productive use of my time.
Great presenters, great topics, well picked vendors, great venue = great event.
I would like to congratulate AKJ Associates for organising an excellent congress. This well attended event is informative and highly relevant with well-chosen speakers and useful breakout sessions. Vendors are not overly aggressive and actually volunteer a lot of useful information. The facilities were equally excellent, if a little crowded on the first day, which is a testament to the value many companies find in the event. The wide variety of industry sectors represented was both refreshing and useful for the sharing of ‘war stories’. All in all a very satisfactory two days.
I attended the 17th e-Crime and Cyber Security Congress and was very impressed by the quality of the content and speakers and level of attendance. There were very informative discussions and seminars on a wide range of topics including AML, Fraud, Cyber Security risks, AI and GDPR.
I have been attending for the last 5 years and this incarnation was the most beneficial yet. The Congress gives me the optimal balance of educational input, solution awareness and networking opportunity to keep me up-to-date with developments in the ever advancing cyber security landscape.
The congress was very informative, insightful and inspirational. It was encouraging knowing that the current challenges my company is facing isn’t an isolated issue but one that is experienced by many in the industry. Most of the speakers’ content addressed real times issues and concerns with cyber/ information security as well as offering solutions, tips and advice on how to tackle them. The organisers of this event were spectacular and ensured a smooth event. An all-round fantastic atmosphere to network with peers and see what vendors had to offer. Brilliant!
I would like to convey my thanks to you and all at AKJ Associates for hosting a well organised and highly informative event. The event not only gives the delegates the opportunity to learn about new technology and understand what other organisations are doing about cyber security and risk in different market sector but also enables them to identify gaps in the measures and framework implemented to deal with cyber threat and resilience in their own environment.
As always the event was well organised & informative covering current security best practice and research. There were also opportunities to discuss how to better strengthen cyber security responses.
The congress overall was excellent, with a wide range of topics being covered. I was particularly impressed with the presentations on the second day and the topics that were covered, from Michael Stawasz at the US Dept of Justice covering hack back, to the view portrayed by fund investors given by David Sneyd, and for the presentation skills (as well as the content) of the presentation by Simon Wiseman.
It was a great event to listen to on what is happening in the security world. It was good to hear from different security product vendors, CISOs and government investigating agencies on managing Cyber Security. The lunch session was a great opportunity to speak and network with people on current challenges within the organisations and ongoing thought process. Overall a great event.
I was really impressed with the level of speakers and the subjects that were discussed. A very well organised event which adds value to any business by providing relevant presentations by experienced speakers. Personally the CybelAngel session highlighted to me the huge danger of data leaks and the critical threat to airport security as just an example – this really brought DLP to life! A great few days which provided attendees with a wealth of knowledge and new key threats in the ever growing world of Cyber. Well done to the organisers.
I find the event invaluable in knowing what threats businesses are facing up to and how I can defend against these. I always learn something new, either about a product or service that’s available or what I should be thinking of doing within my organization to improve our security posture.
One of the best conferences of this nature I’ve been to. The presentations were genuinely interesting and very varied in subject matter, the conference covered a wide array of approaches to security and highlighted most of the current hot issues. The vendors were well selected with a good balance of products and services. I’ll definitely attend again next year.
I very much enjoyed the opportunity to hear from peers and specialists about the same issues many of us face. I always learn something new, whether that be a new approach to an old problem or an innovative approach to an emerging problem. It is always good to network with those facing similar situations and valuable contacts are often made.
I’d like to thank you for allowing me to attend. I learnt some good things from the vendors, which were my reasons for attending, i.e. to learn and understand what security products may/may not help our organisation.
Thanks again for inviting me to the great congress. I was thoroughly engaged and of course loved the environment, talks and seminars […] It was easy to network, for some reason it becomes a bit like a family gathering when you see people who previously attended the event, I personally love the mixture of tech and industry discussions, but the freedom to talk and converse with other delegates about experiences within their environment is key to making it such a great event. The beauty of this congress is that it’s not a forceful sale of any projects, it’s about discussion of the changing cybersecurity landscape within business, it gives you a great platform to be proactive instead of being reactive. My thanks to all the wonderful people at e-Crime and AKJ Associates.
e-Crime & Cyber Security Congress is one event that I try not to miss. The topics presented are relevant and of good standard. The event is also excellent for networking with people from different industries/sectors and gaining knowledge from peers and vendors.
I am very happy to say that I enjoyed the event. The presentations I attended were informative and relevant, being just the right length to introduce the subjects and the salient points. I caught up with many ex-colleagues and associates, and had time to talk to several vendors. Overall this was an excellent event, with an easily accessible venue and provided many take-away points.
This was the 2nd year I attended the e-crime & Cybersecurity Congress and I would not miss it again, it’s a brilliant forum for getting some perspective around your security posture whilst being able to appreciate we all have the same common enemy and goals.
The event was excellent, very organised and very informative. I was also pleased to see the police, national fraud units, and other bureaus of intelligence sharing their threat intelligence.
Thanks for another great year! Really enjoyed all the speakers and the value you get from the breakout sessions is tremendous. Nice to see a lot of focus being given to GDPR and its going to be interesting to see how it impacts industry in the up and coming months. Looking forward to future AKJ events and thank you again.
Both days were exceptional and useful to my company and my progression within my new role.
I have been attending E-Crime for 14 years. This year was absolutely excellent in my opinion with a great coverage from the Secret Service, FBI, NCA, Europol, vendors and other organisations. Some super presentations and networking opportunities within a really nice venue. Thank you once again.
Thank you for a great conference, real quality presenters, presentations and content. The balance between information sharing, networking and selling very much met.
A very well-organised, very interesting and highly informative event. The talks were top notch and industry-leading and set at a level as to not be 'excluding'. Without hesitation I can say that I am already looking forward to next year's event.
A series of thought provoking presentations challenging the current operational paradigm, providing insight on a way forward that will enable business to adopt new approaches to ensure their data and I.P. is protected for their and their clients' benefit.
I would like to thank you and AKJ Associates for hosting very informative event and the excellent hospitality extended to all the attendees.
I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the event; the pre-event organisation was first class and the AKJ team were supportive. On the day everything ran like clockwork and we were pleasantly surprised to be overwhelmed with attendees to our presentation and the subsequent interest we received with visitors to our stand.
Really interesting to hear about the state-of-the-art services being offered to help businesses protect their data.
An impressive line up of speakers, an interesting range of subjects and good quality networking.
The event was one of the best I have attended so far out of the numerous events I attend every year. The AKJ staff were very helpful in guiding all attendees for different education seminars and did their best to make this press-free event a truly outstanding one. Attendees were the right mix of senior professionals from different industries, organisations, countries with their own specialisations and there was an ample amount of time reserved for networking over excellent lunch and tea breaks. All speakers were well known industry experts and were happy to share their knowledge and experiences. Overall - Easy sign-up process, very well organised with an amazing venue and brilliant speakers. Not to be missed, truly outstanding!
A excellent congress this year with subject matter experts providing the audience with up to date and pertinent intelligence on areas that we were all concerned about.
The E-Crime series always delves into key issues facing the industry, and this last event was no exception. The views from legal, technical, and business professionals are all presented with top speakers from a variety of industries.
I found it to be an extremely valuable source of information in the security space and to see what other organisations within finance and non-finance are doing in this space. The real life case studies and attacks being discussed were an eye opener. I would say if you’re in the security space, this is a MUST to attend.
Another well organised event with presentations and education addressing current issues and trends supported by actual use cases giving food for thought to take back into the workplace.
There was a good mix of both technical and non-technical topics plus loads of key takeaways. The line-up was phenomenal. An excellent opportunity to network and gain valuable contacts from all different paths.
The 2 days were really useful to us as a company – thank you for all the efforts. Lots of great conversation, innovation and updates that will have our teams busy for a while to come! The break out seminar sessions sparked some great debate and we will certainly be attending again next year.
As ever e-Crime Congress proved to be the best conference for me to go to.
Many thanks! I found the Congress to be an excellent use of time and managed to learn a great deal from the many excellent speakers, especially in the breakout sessions which were particularly useful.
I thoroughly enjoyed this conference with great speakers, programme, and excellent content
