Ben is the founder of ICA Consultancy, a firm that provides advisory and consultancy services, and virtual resourcing (Virtual CISO, DPO etc.) engagements, helping organisations identify, manage and mitigate information, cyber and privacy risks. Through experienced resources they deliver pragmatic and sustainable solutions, enabling clients to improve their maturity whilst maximising the benefits from their investments. Before devoting his work fulltime to ICA Consultancy Ben was the Chief Information Security Officer for Old Mutual Wealth, a FTSE100 financial services group that included wealth management, asset management, platform and financial advice businesses. Previous to this Ben has worked for Serco, KPMG and Sun Microsystems, amongst other firms. This experience has enabled Ben to build a unique blend of skills, enabling him to understand complex issues, communicate these to stakeholders of all levels, whilst understanding what is achievable amongst the often-conflicting priorities within an organisation.
