Daniel is Chief Information Officer at Nuevo Arpegio, the land development and civil works management company for the Madrid Regional Government. He reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the Board of Directors. Among his many responsibilities he leads the Implementation of corporate ERP, CRM, ECM and BI (KPIs, analytics, dashboards, reports). He has been involved in 12 ERP migrations, developed multiple websites and has transitioned the company to Agile Project Management and IT Service Delivery. He has led the design and implementation of IT security, with no warnings in the annual security audits performed by Big 4 auditors, and the consolidation of data centres and IT services, including use of hybrid cloud. He is also leading research on the opportunities – and the security implications – of Smart Cities initiatives. As Associate Professor at the IE School of Architecture and Design, he is responsible for the course “Digital Trends and Tools for the City” of the Master in Real Estate Development, analysing the impact of the digital revolution on city management and the Real Estate industry.
