Eduardo Gonzalez is currently the Global Advanced Cybersecurity Director at Banco Sabadell. Jonathan is an experienced lawyer with a concentration on technology and compliance. Philipp Amann, Group CISO, Austrian Post (Post AG)
Philipp Amann is the Group Chief Information Security Officer of the Austrian Post (Post AG). In this role, he is responsible for managing the cyber security of the organisation and its subsidiaries in Austria and abroad. This includes topics such as NIS2 as well as data protection.
Prior to that, he was the Head of Strategy at Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre... (EC3). He oversaw the delivery of strategic and tactical cyber-security and cybercrime related products such as Europol’s Internet Organised Crime Threat Assessment. Other key areas of responsibility included the assessment of current and future technology trends, providing strategic support to investigations, driving innovation, engaging with EC3’s industry advisory groups, and managing international prevention & awareness activities (e.g. No More Ransome Initiative). He was a member of various advisory groups and task forces, for instance with the World Economic Forum and ENISA.
Before joining EC3, Mr Amann held positions with various international organisations such as the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the International Criminal Court, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
Mr Amann has more than 20 years of combined work experience and hands-on skills in cyber security and defense, combatting cybercrime, policy & governance, intelligence management, crypto analysis, digital forensics, software analysis & design, and digital transformation.
He has worked in various fields, including the financial sector, global disarmament and arms control, international investigations and on issues related to safety and security in cyberspace, topics he deeply cares about.
Mr Amann’s professional experience is complemented by a PhD degree and a Master’s degree in business informatics from the University of Vienna. He also holds an MSc in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigation from the University College Dublin.
