Last month, senior professionals from Qatar's cybersecurity community gathered at the Westin Doha to attend a one-day summit under the theme of "Securing the digital nation – and the World Cup".
We filmed the keynote speeches, panel discussions and education seminars, and we will be making these sessions available to view on our online platform for 21 days, from 25th July - 14th August.
The 2nd e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress in Qatar explored how The Smart Qatar Program, an innovative cloud-based smart city solutions platform with world-class AI, big data and cybersecurity capabilities, can, along with the rest of the nation, be kept secure. All of this new technology, data and connectivity must be made cybersecure at a time when attackers are becoming sophisticated. In addition, Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 World Cup will also make the country a target for disruptive attacks, focused on destabilising the event itself as well as impacting individual targets.
Packed with sessions of superb, high-level content, the conference hosted an elite line-up of expert speakers from across industry, with delegates attending from both the private sector and the national government.
We have since been contacted by large numbers of those who attended, and also those who were unable to attend, with the same request: "Is it possible to view this content again?" The answer to this question is a resounding "Yes!".
